Let's talk about books + Show me how you use it = Two Linky Parties!

Today I'm linking up with TWO phenomenal bloggers.
Cuz it's summer and that's how I roll.
I'm a party animal!

First up is the Show me How You Use It linky.
This week is all about popsicle sticks!
Aside from crafts and sight word practice, we use colored popsicle sticks to count the number of days we've been in school.
Pretty simple and popular, but very practical.
Click the linky picture above to check out other uses!

Next, it's Tuesday!
That means it's book talk Tuesday with Mrs. Jump!

This week's book is all about professional development.
I have used the Daily 5 for 5 years and absolutely love the framework and structure it gives to my literacy block.
I'm so excited to have this second edition and to see what new insights the sisters have for us!
I'm also thrilled to see the Math Daily 3 included in this book, as well as sample lesson plans.
I've gotten through the first 2 chapters this week, so I'll probably have a few freebies for you in the coming weeks!

    1. Hi Kathleen! The linkys that I find are just from other bloggers that I follow. Sometimes bloggers will post in advance they are getting ready to start a linky party. Other times I link up after I've seen their post. Bloglovin' is a lifesaver because I can check all my favorite blogs at once and that's where I read about the linkys. There are some I stumbled upon or read before I had a blog myself, so I just knew to look out for them (Monday Made-It, Five for Friday). I did see your linky from your Workin' It Wednesday post!! I already have a story in mind for tomorrow so I'll check out your first post! :)

  2. Great idea for the popsicle sticks. I have always used straws, but they can get bent and it's hard to find the skinny ones sometimes. Popsicle sticks are so cheap too.

    1. Thanks Jessica! I love using the popsicle sticks. I've had those for 4 years now and they're still going strong!
