Today was an exciting day! I received my first sweet comment on one of my TpT products today, and I had a giveaway on my facebook page! How exciting! Don't forget to follow my TpT shop, as I will be adding a TON of new products in the coming week!
If you are like me, your heart has become nerd-happy ecstatic with all of the back to school supplies coming out! Have you SEEN Target?! That dollar spot gets me Every.Single.Time. And this year they have Dr. Seuss (my classroom theme), WHAT?! The last time I was there, the sweet boy at the cash register said, "You got sucked into the dollar spot, didn't you?" Haha! Please tell me I'm not the only one!
Anyways..
One of the projects on my "Sweet Summer Time To-Do List" is to update my Star Sneetch (Star Student) board! It was pretty sad looking by the end of the year last year. I switched classrooms mid-way through the year and my original board was ripped... and ... let's just say it could use some love!
See? I told you! (The little black squares and stars are there to cover my kiddos personal information). This was hanging on my door to my classroom. After the Star Sneetch was selected, the students would interview the Star and ask them questions. I would record these answers on Post-it notes (easy changeable each week) and place them on the pocket chart.
I can't want to revamp this for next year! Stay tuned for the update.. and it's POSSIBLE (hint, hint, :)) that there will be a Freebie Friday post.. exclusively for my blog followers and only available for a limited time!
Happy Wednesday! (Which, by the way, I LOVE the new Geico commercial with the camel, "What day is it?!" Lol! My hubby thinks I'm crazy, but I think it's hilarious!
